vASTR characteristics

• Min. staking = 1 ASTR / min. unstaking = 0.8 vASTR
• vASTR unstaking period: 0~10 days (flexible)
• Ledger support: Yes (through the Ethereum app)
• Used bridges: Layer0 & XCM
• OpenGov: No
• Reward fee: 10% (apply to rewards only)
• Unstake fee: 0.1% (apply to unstake amount)

There are 2 options to unstake ASTR from vASTR.

• Full unstaking request (you retain full vASTR value)
• Swap mode (you swap at market price, most of the time you won't get full value)

Unstake vASTR

1. On the vASTR staking page, click on "Unstake" in the top menu, input the amount of vASTR you want to unstake, click on "Approve" and sign the 1st transaction, then click on "Unstake now" and sign the 2nd transaction to unstake your vASTR.

NB: Repeat the same operation with vDOT

1. On the vASTR page you can follow the latest progress of your unstaking request on the right side. Once executed, the ASTR are deposited directly in your wallet, there is nothing to claim.
